On August 31, a large insurance company went live with a PeopleSoft 8.8 General Ledger Re-Engineering effort lead by Drivestream. The effort included adding additional ledgers, converting five years worth of history to the new ledger structure, and re-writing numerous nVision reports. The new structure is estimated to save the UK Finance group forty hours a quarter. Additionally, this phase of the project lays the foundation for Phase II, which entails building interfaces to a legacy Claims Administration system as well as other enhancements.
