Cloud Story: Hillside.


Hillside Family of Agencies is a non-profit human services organization delivering a diverse set of services for children and families, people with mental illness and developmental disabilities, including foster care, education, tutoring and other human services.

Hillside’s range of services was anchored by diverse funding streams that brought a litany of cost allocations to the table. As a non-profit, they also needed to reduce Total Cost of Ownership in order to make the best use of their resources.

Drivestream worked with Hillside to replace their on-premise EBS with a unified Oracle cloud environment for HCM, ERP and Payroll. This enabled Hillside not just to cut costs and reduce IT labor, but also recruit unique, hard-to-find talent for their flagship services.

Implementation Highlights

  • Executed a highly complex payroll implementation involving multiple legal employers and multiple concurrent assignments (with 20% of employees having up to 5 active assignments).
  • Performed complex conversion mapping of dissimilar EBS to cloud data structures.
